The best blog food of all time is homemade organic chicken. When I made it the first time I was worried because I didn’t have any chicken to work with. But, my husband whipped up a fantastic recipe for a light and tasty meal that we served. Now I don’t normally go for the super healthy stuff but since my friend saw the blog I was inspired to make him some dinner. And I wasn’t going to pass up on the chance of using our fresh and home cooked ingredients.
There are so many recipes out there that are good for blog food. Most involve some type of roasted chicken or ground beef. Sometimes I will add some veggies or spices and just let the juices do the rest. One that I found is really great for blog food is called shredded chicken and it only requires a handful of the juiciest parts of the chicken. Just throw everything in a pot and cover it, set the timer on 30 minutes and then sit back and watch your chicken get tender. I also included some carrots, celery, onions, potatoes, and an apple to give it a little bit of a punch.
There are a ton of other recipes out there and I would recommend checking them out. I am a huge fan of chicken and rotating meat as well. I love peppercorn and basil flavored chicken as well as spicy Cajun chicken. If you have never cooked with lemons then go get yourself some lemon marinades, then when you roast your chicken take the marinade and squeeze some of it on. This will give your chicken a little bit of zest and make it more delicious.
